
Free-Agent RB Darrin Reaves Arrested on Felony Unlawful Restraint Charges
Free-agent running back Darrin Reaves was arrested Sunday on charges of unlawful restraint.
According to WRMJ, Reaves was taken into custody in Aledo, Illinois, and faces two felony counts of unlawful restraint as well as a misdemeanor count of criminal trespass to a residence for an alleged incident involving two women.
Mercer County State's Attorney Meeghan Lee said Reaves had a prior relationship with one of the women involved and that both have filed protective orders against him.

Reaves was released on $10,000 bond and is set to appear in court on July 10, per WRMJ.
The 24-year-old went undrafted in 2014 out of UAB before signing with the Carolina Panthers.
He appeared in six games for the Panthers in 2014, rushing for 78 yards on 31 carries and making five receptions for 31 yards.
Reaves spent time on the Kansas City Chiefs' practice squad in 2015, 2016 and 2017 before getting released in May.
