LeSean McCoy's Captions Instagram Post with Jeremy Maclin 'Signing Players'

Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy took his recruitment of free-agent wide receiver Jeremy Maclin to social media Wednesday.

As seen in the following screenshot of his Instagram story from WGR 550's Sal Capaccio, McCoy tagged a video of himself and Maclin with "signing players daily," Wednesday:

Maclin visited the Bills on Tuesday, and that visit has stretched into Wednesday.

The Kansas City Chiefs surprisingly released Maclin on Friday in a move that saved them $10 million against the salary cap, per ESPN.com.

While Maclin was still in Buffalo as of Wednesday morning, the Baltimore Ravens had hoped to schedule a visit with him for Wednesday as well, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter (h/t ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley).

Maclin has significant ties to the Bills, and he could be a great fit in Buffalo due to a lack of high-end talent at wideout.

McCoy and Maclin were teammates with the Philadelphia Eagles from 2009 through 2014, and current Bills head coach Sean McDermott was the Eagles' defensive coordinator for two years when Maclin was on the team.

The 29-year-old receiver is coming off an injury-plagued season that saw him miss four games and set career lows with 44 receptions for 536 yards and two touchdowns.

Despite his down year, Maclin could slot in between No. 1 receiver Sammy Watkins and rookie second-round pick Zay Jones to give the Bills an explosive passing game in addition to an already-dynamic running game anchored by McCoy.
