The Pittsburgh Penguins will be forced to play another game in the Stanley Cup Final without Nick Bonino.

While there was hope he would be able to return Monday, the Game 4 lineups announced by the team didn't include the center.

Bonino has been out with a foot injury since blocking a shot in Game 2.

After the Penguins won the first two games of the series, the Nashville Predators came back with a Game 3 win to cut the series lead to 2-1.

Bonino has seven goals in 21 postseason games, including two goals in Game 1, although his impact goes beyond just offensive contributions.

"We utilize him in so many aspects of our game," Penguins coach Mike Sullivan said of Bonino, per Dan Rosen of NHL.com. "He's a real good player. He's just a real good solid two-way center iceman that we know makes our team more competitive when he's in our lineup."

He was a game-time decision heading into Monday but will now miss at least one more game.
