According to the concertgoer's account, a person (later identified as Lee by NFL writer Benjamin Allbright) harassed and became physical with an unnamed woman on multiple occasions. Williams later stepped in and picked up Lee to take him away from the situation.
Lee was identified as the aggressor, with people needing to intervene to prevent the situation from escalating. The concertgoer said Lee threatened Williams, who picked up his teammate after he attempted to push his way through and get back to the woman.
These accounts have not been confirmed, either by police or any of the people involved in the situation. Security intervened after Williams became physical with Lee, according to the concertgoer.
Lee, 22, was the Jets' first-round pick in 2016. He recorded 73 tackles and one sack in 13 games during his rookie campaign.
