Nick Bonino Will Not Play vs. Predators in Game 3 with Lower-Body Injury
Pittsburgh Penguins center Nick Bonino will not play in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Nashville Predators due to a lower-body injury, according to NHL.com's Dan Rosen.
Bonino was spotted entering the arena on crutches with a boot on after he took a slap shot to the foot in Game 2.
Bonino was initially listed as day-to-day, but it became clear he likely wasn't going to suit up for Game 3 when he was absent for the team's morning skate on Saturday, according to Pens Inside Scoop.
