Le'Veon Bell, Melvin Ingram Reportedly to Skip Minicamp Amid Contract Talks
Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Melvin Ingram and Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell could sit out of their respective teams' organized team activities and mandatory minicamp while waiting for new long-term contracts.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported it "wouldn't be a surprise" if Ingram and Bell chose to skip minicamp in hopes of securing new deals.

Bell and Ingram were among the seven players given the franchise tag designation during the offseason.
From that group, Arizona Cardinals linebacker Chandler Jones, Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Kawaan Short and New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul have received long-term extensions. Los Angeles Rams cornerback Trumaine Johnson and Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins signed their one-year tender.
Under the franchise designation, Bell would make $12.12 million and Ingram would earn $14.55 million, per ESPN.com.
Bell averaged a career-high 105.7 rushing yards per game and had 75 receptions in just 12 games last season. Ingram has recorded 18.5 sacks for the Chargers over the last two seasons after having six total from 2012-14.
