Tiger Woods' DUI Arrest Video to Be Released by Police on Wednesday
According to a report from TMZ Sports, the police video of golf legend Tiger Woods' DUI arrest will be released Wednesday.
TMZ Sports cited the Jupiter Police Department in Florida.
Woods was arrested on DUI charges in the early morning hours Monday and eventually released, per Scott Sutton of WPTV.com.
TMZ Sports was told the video of the arrest was being reviewed for redaction before its eventual release.
Woods addressed and apologized for the incident in a statement and noted it was "an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications," per Steve DiMeglio of USA Today:
ESPN.com cited a police report saying Woods was asleep when police reached his running vehicle before the arrest. He also reportedly "had extremely slow and slurred speech" and blew a 0.00 in a breath test.
Woods is a 14-time major winner but has struggled with his health in recent years, including multiple back surgeries. He hasn't appeared in a PGA event since January.
