Bodybuilder Calls Out UFC Champ Cody Garbrandt, Promises to Show Up at His Gym

Cody Garbrandt became one of the hottest new faces in the sport last year when he easily defeated then-champ Dominick Cruz over the course of five rounds at UFC 207. 

Garbrandt was set to face another former champ in T.J. Dillashaw at UFC 213 before having to pull out due to injury. 

Dillashaw, who was unhappy with this unfortunate turn of events, decided to run a Twitter poll asking fans whom he should fight instead.

Garbrandt took offense to Dillashaw's poll and responded: 

That's when Matthew Kline Kader, who has over 120,000 Twitter followers, saw an opportunity to attach himself to the current champ. 

Things quickly escalated as insults and profanity were exchanged.

Garbrandt posted the address of the MMA gym where he trains and told Kader to show up, even offering to pay for his flight. Kader told Garbrandt he'd show up with a camera crew and "prove he's a b---h."

Kader went as far as screenshotting a plane reservation he apparently booked for June 25, flying from Las Vegas to Sacramento, California.
