Kobe Bryant Responds to Student's Request for Retweet to Avoid Taking Final Exam
A student looking to dodge a final exam turned to Kobe Bryant for help.
A teacher oddly agreed to excuse his class from taking the test if the retired NBA legend retweeted a picture of them shaking hands on the arrangement.
The instructor probably envisioned this as a "when pigs fly" provision when accepting these terms. Bryant, however, shared the tweet and commented: "Hope you have an A in this class."
Then again, does quoting the tweet count? One could interpret his response as meaning "I hope your final grade doesn't hinge on this test because I'm not bailing you out." After all, why would one of basketball's most persistent competitors encourage youngsters to take the easy way out instead of earning their grades?
There's also the possibility the teacher still mandates the test because that's typically how school works.
