Extreme Holla: ECW Extreme Recap
If there is a better way to open an ECW show, it doesn't exist.
As the show opens, movers are removing the personal effects of Armando Estrada. According to them, they're just following the orders of the GM. As Estrada snatches the case of cigars from one of them, his jaw drops at the sight of Teddy Long. The reason is because of the shocking announcement from Long: "I am the new General Manager of ECW! Holla Holla Holla!"

Fresh WWE Rumors 🐝
As the four former ECW Champions involved in the Singapore Cane Match at One Night Stand make their way to the ring, highlights are shown from that very match, including how the Big Show's eye got swollen.
As the bell rings, all four men pick a guy and attempt to get the upper hand. Punk tangles with Chavo while Tommy Dreamer battles John Morrison. After some brief double teaming, Punk and Dreamer duke it out in one corner while Chavo and Morrison battle in another.
It isn't until all four men pull some aerial assaults on the outside that things start opening up in the match. Though all four all still jacked up from the Caning from the Big Show at ONS, they still put on a good show. After a Three Amigos from Chavo, he and Morrison battle in one corner until Punk recovers and tangles them both up in that very corner.
After a falling dropkick into the Tree of Woe, Punk springboards off the turnbuckle, which allows Chavo to nail the Frog Splash. But Chavo staggers around and gets caught in the Go To Sleep as Punk gets the win and earns the right to face Kane in the main event of the evening.
In the back, Teddy Long is continuing to break the news courtesy of the Board of Directors to Armando Estrada. As Estrada begs to remain with ECW, Long decides to put him in a match to earn his big money contract. So tonight, in that very ring, the former GM will face a member of SmackDown!: United States Champion Matt Hardy!
Back from break, Kofi Kingston drops through the announcer's table to provide commentary for the next match.
Second Bout: Shelton Benjamin defeats Matt Sydal via Countout
Shelton shows his aggressive side to start the match against his opponent, but Sydal hits unorthodox aerial moves to stay in toe with Benjamin. Unfortunately, the Eminem wannabe regains control with a key lock on Sydal, doing this while smirking at his adversary Kingston.
Shelton then throws Sydal outside towards the announcer's table and does some serious jaw jacking with Kofi. He then picks him up and powerbombs him onto a sitting Kingston. After Shelton wins the match via countout, Kingston strikes with a Jamaican Fury that sends Benjamin out of the ring. But Shelton gains the upper hand with an Irish Whip into the steel steps.
Third Bout: Matt Hardy defeats Armando Estrada
The show returns from break with the entrance of SmackDown!'s United States Champion. As the bell rings, Estrada tries to go for a quick kick to the gut, only to get a clothesline for his troubles. Following a scoop slam, Hardy follows up with a diving elbow drop to the back of the head followed by the Twist of Fate for the quick victory.
Following the match, new ECW General Manager Theodore Long comes out to give Estrada one more chance to earn his big time contract. All the "sharp dressed man with an Island Tan" has to do is beat a familiar adversary: Colin Delaney.
Fourth Bout: Colin Delaney defeats Armando Estrada
Delaney bolts to the ring in an effort to get the quick pinfall. After Estrada kicks out, he nails Colin in the gut and sets him up for the Cuban Stogie Drop. Delaney however, had other plans as he countered the finisher with a small package (and a hand full of Cuban pants) for the much deserved victory over ECW's former Cuban Dictator.
In the back, Estrada is begging to remain on the show at least until the Draft in three weeks. His pleading must have work because Long decides to keep him on as an non-contractual member of ECW. But before he goes to watch his first ECW main event as GM, he leaves Armando with some parting words courtesy of his good friend Ron Simmons: DAMN!
Main Event: Kane defeats CM Punk
The show returns with the arrival of the ECW Champion and Mr. Money in the Bank for the main event of the evening. As the bell rings, Punk tries to use his speed and quick feet to gain the upper hand, but the brute strength of Kane keeps his partner/opponent grounded for much of the match.
On the outside, Kane nails a huge right hand that sends Punk to the floor, and the Big Red Machine continues the assault both inside and outside the ring. As Punk hangs on the top turnbuckle, Kane hits a devastating uppercut to send him back outside.
Back from commercial, Kane has Punk in a submission and continues the assault that he started before the break with a flying dropkick (Remember that Kane is seven feet. Tall?). The Champion applies the leg scissors, but Punk fights back and gets out of them. Just when it looked as if he could pull it off, the "Case Carrier" gets dropped with a monstrous clothesline.
As Kane reapplies the leg scissors, he also applies a key lock (bare in mind that he is still seven feet tall), but Punk fights out of it again with a series of kicks. After a big boot from the King of the Extreme Jungle, Punk counters and hits a hat trick of high knees in the corner followed by a running bulldog moments later.
After a Sidewalk Slam and Flying Clothesline, Kane attempts the chokeslam, but is quickly countered by CM Punk. Punk tries to counter with the Go To Sleep, but the scars of One Night Stand quickly catch up to him. Kane wiggles out, nails the chokeslam and scores the pinfall.
But his celebration is short lived as the WWE Tag Team Champions The Dirt Sheet come out and attack the Big Red Monster. Despite putting up a fight, Kane is quickly dropped with Reality Check from The Miz. The show ends with the three men staring each other down with fierce animosity.
