Floyd Mayweather Jr. Says He Won Big Betting on Isaiah Thomas, Celtics in Game 2

While the city of Boston had a good night Tuesday, it's tough to imagine any Celtics fan had a better night than Floyd Mayweather Jr.

On what would have been his sister's 23rd birthday, Celtics star Isaiah Thomas led his team to a 129-119 victory by dropping 53 points in an inspiring effort. With that, Boston took a 2-0 series lead as the series shifts to the nation's capital.

While Celtics fans have to be feeling good about their team's chances, the retired boxer known as "Money" also apparently had a good night.

According to an Instagram post, Mayweather bet on Thomas and the Celtics. Thanks to IT4 coming up big in the clutch, Money cashed in. If the photo in the Instagram post above is from Tuesday night, Mayweather took home a nice pile of cash.

It's safe to say retirement is treating Money well.
