Marshawn Lynch Thanks Paul Allen, Seahawks Fans in Full-Page Seattle Times Ad
Marshawn Lynch will end his retirement to play for the Oakland Raiders, who acquired him from the Seattle Seahawks. With the move formally placing a bow on his Seahawks tenure, the returning running back took out a full-page ad in Sunday's Seattle Times to thank owner Paul Allen and fans.
Lynch played a huge part in Seattle's rise to perennial title contention, compiling over 1,000 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns in four consecutive seasons. Since the organization still held his rights, Beast Mode needed it to accommodate a move to his hometown.

Rarely verbose on the podium, Lynch kept his printed message simple. Pictures dominated the page with "Thank you Paul Allen" and "Thank you 12s" headlines.
Lynch didn't need to express his gratitude to avoid a fine, but it was a nice gesture.
