During trying times, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Mitch Mathews received a supportive note from new teammate Stefon Diggs.
Mathews' mother, Lisa, recently died of pancreatic cancer. The 26-year-old wideout, who signed with the Vikings at the end of March, shared a direct message Diggs sent him on Twitter.
"I know you're going through a bit of an emotional roller coaster," Diggs wrote. "But I just wanted to tell you we're here for you."
