NFL teams seeking a quarterback in this year's draft will pursue determined leaders, preferably with a heart of gold. Friday Night Lights' Matt Saracen fits those attributes to a tee, but the lovable, fictional character is sadly not eligible.

WFAN host Mike Francesa has been caught dozing on the air, and apparently he also slept on NBC's critically acclaimed drama. When a caller asked about Saracen's draft stock, he did not catch the reference.

"He doesn't have the biggest arm, he's not so athletic, but he makes the smart plays," the caller said of the Dillon Panthers quarterback. "He's accurate. What do you think?"

At least Francesa admitted that he's "not familiar" with the Texas prospect before a producer seemingly informed him of the prank.

"I don't know every quarterback in the country. I'll be the first to admit that," Francesa said. "But I know the one's I've watched, and I've never heard of him."

Despite his late-game heroics, Saracen would have lacked the size and arm strength to woo NFL scouts. But now someone needs to see what he thinks about Michigan State quarterback Vince Howard.
