Minor League Hockey Teams Engage in Wild Brawl

A major fight broke out between the Orlando Solar Bears and Florida Everblades in Game 4 of their Saturday night playoff matchup.

In the closing minute of Orlando's 3-0 victory, a two-person skirmish unraveled. This quickly expanded into a full-scale brawl.

According to the Journal Gazette's Justin A. Cohn, the referees issued 32 penalties throughout the testy contest. Florida forward Mitchell Heard accounted for 29 of 182 total penalty minutes.

The ECHL suspended Heard three games and teammate Jake Baker for one, putting both out of action for Sunday's Game 5 victory.

During the madness, one young fan enthusiastically played air guitar while enjoying the chaos. In the words of The Simpsons' Helen Lovejoy, "Won't somebody please think of the children?"
