A native of Torrance, California, Singleton is a 4-star recruit who is rated as the No. 2 shooting guard prospect in his home state, No. 10 shooting guard prospect in the nation and No. 58 prospect overall in the 2018 class, per Scout.com.
Scout's analysis emphasizes his ability to handle the ball and score: "Singleton is a high level scorer who uses his handle and shooting ability to create his own shot efficiently from outside the perimeter and in."
UCLA head coach Steve Alford had tremendous success last season, posting a 31-5 record, thanks to a team that could run the floor and score with anyone in the country.
The addition of Singleton to the Bruins' mix starting in 2018 will ensure the program remains an offensive juggernaut in the Pac-12.
