Aaron Hernandez Spoke to Fiancee Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez Hours Before Death

Aaron Hernandez spoke with his fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez, hours before he was found dead in his prison cell in what is believed to have been a suicide, according to Travis Andersen and John R. Ellement of the Boston Globe.

"She spoke to him until telephone hours were over at about 8 [p.m.]," Ronald Sullivan, one of Hernandez's lawyers, told Andersen and Ellement in an email Thursday.

Hernandez's death came five days after he was found not guilty of murdering Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado, although he was already serving a life sentence after being convicted of murdering Odin Lloyd.
