Mets Ace Noah Syndergaard Declares 'War on Mascots'

New York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard has been involved in a fun yet heated feud with club mascot Mr. Met for some time. 

It appears Thor is ready to branch out to defend his fellow players. 

Before Tuesday evening's game between the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at Minute Maid Park, Houston mascot Orbit had some fun at the expense of Los Angeles slugger Mike Trout. 

Syndergaard clearly wasn't amused by these shenanigans, as he took to Twitter on Wednesday to declare "The War of the Mascots is upon us." 

We imagine the Phillie Phanatic will be close to the top of the ace's list of future targets.
