Anthony Lynn Responds to Joey Bosa Skipping Chargers Voluntary Workouts
Los Angeles Chargers edge-rusher Joey Bosa has been a no-show for the start of the team's voluntary offseason workout program following a stellar rookie campaign. ย
On Tuesday, new head coach Anthony Lynn told reporters Bosa has opted to shift his focus to workouts with a personal trainer in Florida instead of joining his teammates in Southern California.ย
"Your guess is as good as mine," Lynn said when asked about Bosa's status, according to ESPN.com's Eric D. Williams. "Joey and I talked the first day, and he's training with his guy somewhere. But like I said, I'm only focused on the guys that are here trying to build the team."

"Ideally, yeah, you'd like everyone here. Weโre a team," he said, per theย Los Angeles Times'ย Dan Woike. "The ones that are not here, theyโre not here."
Bosa, of course, is no stranger to being away from the Chargers.ย
Last year's Defensive Rookie of the Year engaged in an extended four-week contract holdout with the club last summer, and the stalemate wasn't broken until shortly before the start of the 2016 campaign.ย
