Lions' Golden Tate Credits Cutting Back on Chipotle for Weight Loss

In a stunning turn of events, a man has slimmed down by consuming less fast food.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate, officially listed at 197 pounds on NFL.com, said he has shed some fat by replacing Chipotle with home-cooked meals. Well, yeah. That will do it.

Tate, 28, married Elise Pollard during the offseason. He shared a photo from their wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, last month:

One would think a professional athlete wouldn't need a partner to realize the importance of healthy eating, but fast food is a hard habit for anyone to cut.
