Playing at Bishop Dunne High School in Dallas, Beason is a 4-star prospect in the 2019 recruiting class, per Scout.com. He picked the Cornhuskers after showing interest in LSU, Arkansas, Notre Dame and Mississippi, among others.
Even though it will be two years before Nebraska is able to get a firsthand look at what Beason is capable of doing, his commitment does give head coach Mike Riley a head start on things for the 2019 recruiting cycle as the Cornhuskers look to compete with Big Ten powers Ohio State, Wisconsin and Michigan for conference supremacy.
