
Lions President Rod Wood Says 2017 NFL Schedule Will Be Released Thursday
Detroit Lions President Rod Wood revealed Thursday that the NFL will release its 2017 regular-season schedule on April 20.
According to ESPN.com's Michael Rothstein, Wood made the news public when discussing upcoming dates of importance, including the draft.
The NFL released the 2017 preseason schedule Monday, and if the regular-season schedule is revealed next Thursday, it will occur exactly one week prior to the 2017 NFL draft.
