Roy Keane Says 'Awful' Barcelona Have 'No Chance' of 3-0 Juventus Comeback

Manchester United's legendary former midfielder Roy Keane believes Barcelona have "no chance" of overturning the 3-0 deficit against Juventus in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final.

The Bianconeri were the dominant force in the first leg in Turin, bossing much of the clash, scoring some fine goals and keeping Barca's illustrious attackers out. Keane feels as though the Italian champions have already done enough, per ITV Football:

"Barcelona still look sharp going forward, but at the back they were awful, and this game is over," said the Irishman on ITV, per Alex Smith of the Daily Mirror. "The tie is over. No chance (of a comeback). They can sit in, and on top of all that they still carry a goal threat even from set pieces."

Barca have a mountain to climb, as Juve were by far the better side in Turin. Two first-half goals from the irrepressible Paulo Dybala put the team in complete control of the contest, while Giorgio Chiellini added the gloss to a fine performance from the Serie A side.

Barcelona, meanwhile, continued their struggles away from home in the competition, per Sky Sports Statto:

While Keane is confident in Juventus' ability to see the game through, plenty wouldn't rule Barcelona out after what happened in the previous round.

Indeed, the Blaugrana recovered from a 4-0 deficit against Paris Saint-Germain in the most dramatic of circumstances. At the Camp Nou, Barcelona scored three times in the dying embers of the game to win 6-1 on the night, completing one of the greatest comebacks in football history.

With that in mind, it's tough to call this tie off with conviction, as the Blaugrana are a force to be reckoned with at home. However, as noted by ESPN's Taylor Twellman, the Italian champions are a different proposition to the Parisians:

While PSG blew Barcelona away in the first leg with dynamism and determination, there was an assurance about Juventus in the way they meticulously constructed their win.

Players like Gianluigi Buffon, Leonardo Bonucci, Dani Alves and Chiellini are experienced at the back; it was clear they knew when to take the sting out of the game and were supreme in organising Juve's defensive structure. Those traits will be important in the second leg.

Factor in the aggression of players like Sami Khedira and Mario Mandzukic and Juventus are a pest to play against.

What is also worrying for Barca is the prospect of Juve breaching their brittle defence once again. Dybala was able to escape their attentions with ease on Tuesday, while Gonzalo Higuain also could have had a couple of goals if he was more clinical.

If the Blaugrana can grab an early goal and build momentum, perhaps another "remontada" (comeback) could be on the cards. But it's safe to say, should the visitors get on the scoresheet themselves, it's difficult to see Massimiliano Allegri's men shipping five goals, even at a venue as intimidating as the Camp Nou.
