Gambler Wins $41,773 on $60 Honda Classic/Masters Tournament Parlay

A bettor lived the gambler's dream by hitting the jackpot on one shrewd wager.

Bovada shared the highly profitable parlay for Rickie Fowler to win his first Honda Classic and Sergio Garcia to snap golf's most notable major drought at the Masters. The $60.02 wager netted $41,773.92.

At 12-under, Fowler handily won February's Honda Classic by four strokes. Yet the gambler must have sweat bullets last Sunday, when Garcia overcame Justin Rose in a sudden-death playoff spurred by a 15th-hole eagle from the veteran.

Although Garcia had notched 22 top-10 major finishes before cementing his first triumph, he entered Augusta with 40-1 odds of claiming the green jacket, per Bovada. The biggest moment of his career also paid major dividends for one supporter.
