DeAndre Jordan Says He Wants Tony Romo on the Clippers in TMZ Interview
Tony Romo may be spending a day as a member of the Dallas Mavericks, but Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan thinks the former NFL quarterback joined the wrong NBA team.
"I wish he would suit up for the Clippers," Jordan told TMZ Sports while he was getting into his car, adding: "I'm a [Dallas] Cowboys guy."
"He's a legend," he concluded. "I love Romo."

Romo is spending a day as a member of the Mavericks, joining the team for its Tuesday shootaround:
He will also suit up for the team's game against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night, though he won't play.
"It's just not a good idea to take a football athlete and throw him in an NBA game," head coach Rick Carlisle told ESPN 103.3 FM (h/t Todd Archer of ESPN.com). "It's a completely different kind of sport. No. 2, to sign him we would have to go through a tremendous amount of screening, physicals, all those things. It's not in the best interest of anybody to do that."
As for the basis of Romo's day as a Maverick, Carlisle maintained it was about honoring the quarterback's NFL career.
"He's been so good and so great and played hurt and just been such a rock-solid example of what a Dallas athlete should be," he said. "We want to pay a respectful tribute to him, and I know our fans are looking forward to that as well."
