Lonzo Ball Laker Jerseys Pop Up at Staples Center During Win vs. Timberwolves
Former UCLA Bruins star guard Lonzo Ball has made it clear he wants to play for the Los Angeles Lakers, his hometown team.
Fans of the Purple and Gold seem willing to accept him.
During Sunday's walk-off win against the Minnesota Timberwolves, a few No. 2 Ball jerseys were seen at Staples Center. One fan is pictured above, and Lakers Nation's Serena Winters tweeted about another:
Other fans noticed it too:
One said the Ball supporter was not well received:
It's ironic that the jerseys were seen on a night that lowered L.A.'s chance of landing Lonzo. The Philadelphia 76ers get the Lakers' pick if it falls outside the top three.
D'Angelo Russell's buzzer-beater gave the Lakers four straight wins, though they still have the league's third-worst record, 25-55.
