Chino Hills (California) High School guard LaMelo Ball is already building off his standout sophomore campaign.
This weekend, the baby of the Ball family dropped 38 points in his first AAU game for the Big Ballers, who are coached by his outspoken father, LaVar.
LaMelo stayed true to form, taking ankles from defenders and launching shots from all over the place.
In the Big Ballers' second game of the Southern California Spring Tip Off, though, LaVar benched LaMelo for a five-minute stretch in the second half, according to BallerVisions. The team lost to Tres Hoops.
Soon-to-be NBA lottery pick Lonzo Ball, LaMelo's oldest brother, watched both games from the bench.
