Davis Cup Tennis 2017: Final Scores and Results from Quarterfinals Bracket
Belgium became the last team to reach the semi-finals of the 2017 Davis Cup on Sunday, beating Italy thanks to David Goffin's win over Paolo Lorenzi in the fourth rubber.
France and Serbia already claimed their semi-final tickets on Saturday, and Australia followed suit a little later, as Nick Kyrgios completed a comeback win over Sam Querrey.
Here's a look at the final results from Sunday's Davis Cup action:
| Belgium 3-2 Italy | David Goffin beat Paolo Lorenzi | 6-3, 6-3, 6-2 |
| Alessandro Giannessi beat Joris de Loore | 6-4, 7-6 (9) | |
| Australia 3-2 USA | Nick Kyrgios beat Sam Querrey | 7-6 (4), 6-3, 6-4 |
| John Isner beat Sam Groth | 7-6 (5), 6-3 | |
| France 4-1 GB | Dan Evans beat Julien Benneteau | 6-1, 6-2 |
| Jeremy Chardy beat Kyle Edmund | 6-4, 6-4 | |
| Serbia 4-1 Spain | Dusan Lajovic beat Jaume Munar | 2-6, 6-1, 6-4 |
| Albert Ramos-Vinolas beat Nenad Zimonjic | 6-2, 6-1 |
Kyrgios had to dig deep in his win over Querrey after the American took a lead in the first set in Brisbane with some excellent tennis.
Querrey dominated with clean groundstrokes, while Kyrgios again struggled for concentration. The magnitude of the moment seemed too much in his first rubber against John Isner, and a similar scenario played out against Querrey.

The in-form Australian star turned up the heat in the second set and completed another comeback in the third. The 21-year-old's serve was dominant by the end of the third set, and Querrey had no answers.
Per Leigh Walsh of the Davis Cup's official website, Kyrgios admitted he had a hard time in the third set: "It was a tough third set there, I was down a break and obviously a lot of emotions as I was close to the finish line. You guys [the crowd] were great again today and I wouldn't have been able to play this week without these guys [Australian squad]."

Veteran defensive specialist Lorenzi couldn't put up much of a fight against Goffin, who gave away a handful of games mainly due to losing his concentration. The Italian spent most of the match chasing after powerful groundstrokes, although a timely break in the third set added some excitement.
The win means Belgium will host Australia in the semi-finals. France play host to Serbia.
In the other two matches, Sunday's rubbers no longer mattered, as both Serbia and France took convincing 3-0 leads on Saturday. As shared by the Davis Cup's official Twitter account, Les Bleus joked around during the match between Dan Evans and Julien Benneteau:
Jeremy Chardy's win over Kyle Edmund put the final 4-1 score on the board for France, with Evans winning Great Britain's sole rubber.
In Serbia, Dusan Lajovic made the score 4-0 with a win over Jaume Munar, who made his Davis Cup debut. Albert Ramos-Vinolas salvaged a point for the team.
