Chelsea Transfer News: Shock Daniele De Rossi Rumours, Andrea Belotti Latest
Antonio Conte reportedly wants to bring Daniele De Rossi to Chelsea if his situation at AS Roma doesn't get resolved, while Torino manager Sinisa Mihajlovic is confident Andrea Belotti will stay at the club during the summer.
According to Calciomercato.com, De Rossi and Roma find themselves at an impasse over his contract negotations, as the Italian veteran is looking for a three-year commitment and the Giallorossi only want to offer a one-year deal.
Inter Milan and Juventus are said to be keeping a close eye on the situation, but per the report, the Blues are also interested. De Rossi is a Roma legend and unlikely to move to another Italian club, making west London an attractive alternative.

Per the report, De Rossi has never hidden his admiration of current Chelsea manager Conte and recently sang his praises, saying: "Conte has impressed me. Tactically he’s a phenomenon and although it is hard to achieve, it is nice to become one of his players."
The 33-year-old has suffered several knocks and minor injuries this season, but when healthy, he's mostly been an automatic starter in Roma's star-studded midfield. The Giallorossi have absurd depth in the centre of the pitch, with the likes of Radja Nainggolan, Kevin Strootman and Leandro Paredes all on the books.
De Rossi has been used as the main enforcer in front of the defence and a playmaker, and as you can see in this video, he's done a great job in that role:
The Italian has been with Roma since his youth days, however, and no one expects him to leave the club unless the relationship truly sours. If he does depart, he's more likely to move to MLS―he's clearly well past his prime at this point and likely wouldn't be a quality addition for the Blues.
His compatriot Belotti would be, but Mihajlovic believes the star striker has every reason to say at Torino for now. Per Metro's Louis Sealey, he said:
"Everyone likes him, me, the fans, everyone.
Belotti is not a player of this era but if he remains or not depends on many things. He’s happy here – I know that – and would be willing to stay.
I hope he remains as long as I do but I do not know.
The President has already stated that if the €100 million release clause is met then it will be up to the player himself.
"
Belotti has been among Serie A's best strikers this season, establishing himself as a rising star on the Italian peninsula. The 23-year-old has scored at a tremendous rate all season long and has flashed his versatile skill set, converting chances in a variety of ways.
Here's a look at some of his highlights:
Already an automatic starter for Italy's national team, the sky is the limit for Il Gallo. He seems to be very comfortable in Turin, however, and the fans have done everything possible to keep things that way, per ItalianFootballTV:

Belotti may well move to a top club at some point in the near future, but for now, his best bet may be to stay in Turin. Torino will undoubtedly hold out for a massive transfer fee, and interested clubs may not be willing to pay such a sum based on one season of elite production.
