
Kyle Okposo Reportedly Discharged from Hospital After Unknown Illness
Buffalo Sabres right wing Kyle Okposo was reportedly discharged from Buffalo General Hospital on Friday after being treated for an unknown illness in the neurosurgical intensive care unit.
Tom Martin of WIVB reported a source confirmed the forward was released, but no further information was available about what prompted the six-day hospital stay.
The Sabres haven't confirmed the news. They released a statement Wednesday saying he was under the care of team doctors:

Buffalo head coach Dan Bylsma previously confirmed the 28-year-old Minnesota native wouldn't return for the team's final few games of the 2016-17 season, per Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News.
Okposo signed a seven-year contract with the Sabres last offseason. He spent the first nine years of his NHL career with the New York Islanders.
The 2017 All-Star Game selection tallied 45 points (19 goals and 26 assists) across 65 games during his first season in Buffalo.
