Barcelona have confirmed Rafinha has undergone surgery on his right knee and will be missing from first-team action for four months.
The Blaugrana explained the details of the injury on their official website on Friday. The midfielder has scored seven goals in 28 appearances this season.

"At midday on Friday local time the first team player Rafinha underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee to resolve an injury to the internal meniscus. The operation was carried out by Dr. Ramon Cugat and Dr. Ricard Pruna. The player will be out for around four months.

The player's influence has continued to grow at the Camp Nou, and the 24-year-old Brazil international scored the winner for manager Luis Enrique against Granada in a 1-0 home victory.
Rafinha climbed through the youth ranks in Catalonia and made his international debut in 2015 after a loan spell at Celta Vigo.
