Seahawks Rumored to Seek Draft Pick, 'Very Good Player' in Richard Sherman Trade
Any teams inquiring about trading for Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman will have to pay a steep price.
Per Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, the Seahawks will only trade Sherman if they receive “a very good player plus a high draft pick."
Rumblings of Sherman being on the trade block first percolated when Michael Lombardi said during a recent episode of The Ringer NFL Show that the Seahawks were entertaining the idea.

"I truly believe based on what I hear around the National Football League that the Seahawks would, in fact— for the right deal—trade Richard Sherman," Lombardi said.
Seahawks general manager John Schneider said in a Wednesday interview on the Brock and Salk show on ESPN Radio 710 that news of exploring a Sherman trade "is real."
Sherman is signed through 2018 with a cap hit of $13.6 million this upcoming season, per Spotrac. He has spent his entire six-year NFL career with the Seahawks, won one Super Bowl and made four consecutive Pro Bowl appearances.
