Real Madrid Transfer News: Karim Benzema Offer Reportedly Prepared by AC Milan
AC Milan are reportedly set to launch a bid to sign Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.
According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport (via ESPN FC's Jack Rathborn), it is part of the Rossoneri's ambitious post-takeover plans to try to lure the prolific Frenchman to the San Siro—his Real contract runs to 2019.
The report hinted that Benzema, 29, could be available as Alvaro Morata again proved his credentials to be Real's starting No. 9 by netting a hat-trick in Wednesday's 4-2 La Liga win over Leganes.

Benzema has been at Real since 2009 and has formed a devastating attacking trio with Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale over the last few seasons.
However, Ronaldo is now 32, and the era of BBC is surely nearing its end, especially with the young talent Real now have on their books—21-year-old Marco Asensio was also excellent against Leganes.
It was recently reported that Real would be prepared to let Benzema go for £50 million, per The Sun's Gary Stonehouse.
Given his goalscoring record, experience and the fact that he could still have two or three seasons left in his prime, Milan may decide he is worth such a bid.
If the Italian giants can afford to pay the money, it could be a deal that works out for all parties, as Benzema himself is unlikely to be eager to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu if he is to be playing second fiddle to Morata.
