Troy Williams Soars, Throws Down Putback Slam over Mason Plumlee

Denver Nuggets big man Mason Plumlee never saw Houston Rockets forward Troy Williams preparing for a putback slam late in the third quarter of Wednesday's game at Toyota Center, and the result was a top-tier posterizing dunk.        

With under seven seconds remaining in the period, Houston star James Harden missed an attempt from beyond the arc.

Plumlee failed to adequately establish position inside the paint, and Williams took advantage by soaring above his opponent and throwing down a monstrous dunk that evoked cheers from many among the home fans.

The Denver center may want to remember to box out next time he faces a similar situation.
