Chelsea Transfer News: Sead Kolasinac Offered Everton Deal Amid Latest Rumours
Everton have reportedly made a lucrative offer to Schalke 04 defender Sead Kolasinac, who has previously been linked with a move to Chelsea.
According to SportBild (h/t Sport Witness), the Toffees have stepped up their interest in the Bosnia and Herzegovina international, whose contract is set to run out at the end of the current campaign.
It's suggested Everton are willing to pay the player £8.5 million-a-year to make the switch to Goodison Park. Per Sport Witness, as well as Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Juventus and Atletico Madrid have also been linked with the 23-year-old.

Kolasinac has blossomed into one of the best left-backs in the Bundesliga and given his contract situation, it looks likely he will move on in the summer window. Here’s a look at why there is said to be so much interest in him:
Per the report, Everton are said to be intent on signing the Schalke man. Their annual wage offer is said to amount to €10 million including bonuses, with other Premier League sides only prepared to pay €6 million (£5.13 million) every year.
It’s easy to see why the Merseyside club want to bring him in, as Kolasinac is versatile, energetic and talented. Although Schalke have endured an inconsistent campaign, he’s been reliable when deployed as a left-back and on the left side of midfield too; he can also fill in at centre-back when required.
As well as grabbing three goals and five assists this season, defensively he brings a lot to a team. Per OptaFranz, it’s clear the Schalke man has matured this season:
It’s easy to see where he’d fit in at Chelsea too. Marcos Alonso occupies the left-sided berth in Antonio Conte’s 3-4-3 system, although there’s no other player who can do a similar job to the Spaniard. Kolasinac, as an industrious, technical and adaptable left-sided operator, would offer fine competition.

The Bosnian will have a big decision to make in the summer, it seems. While UEFA Champions League sides seem keen to secure him, Everton would offer an opportunity to play regular football and showcase his talents in the Premier League consistently next term.
Whoever does sign the Schalke man, whether that be Chelsea, Everton or another side aforementioned, on a free transfer Kolasinac represents quite the capture.
