WWE WrestleMania 2017 Results: Matches Fans Will Be Rewatching for Years

Aaron BowerApr 4, 2017

When the dust settles on WWE WrestleMania each and every year, there are a number of fans who will rewatch every single year, and WrestleMania 33 is no different.

Of course, not all matches are universally approved, and this year's Ultimate Thrill Ride was no exception.

But some bouts will be rewatched over and over again from this year's show.

Fans will be watching them for all different kinds of reasons, but here are three matches from Sunday that will be tuned into again and again.

Neville vs. Austin Aries

The Cruiserweight Championship match being demoted to the pre-show was quickly interpreted as a harsh blow for both Neville and Austin Aries.

They've had a great feud, with it likely to become clear in the coming days as to whether it will continue beyond Mania.

But anyone who bothered to tune in to the pre-show will have been really surprised, or perhaps not, by how good the bout was.

Aries and Neville have great in-ring chemistry whenever they meet, and it would be disappointing to see this one-off meeting the one and only time they face each other.

Given how good this one was, fans need to see it again.

Raw Tag Team Championship Match

Was it the most high-quality match you're ever likely to see? No way.

But the pop The Hardy Boyz got when they returned to WWE for the first time in years makes it almost worth rewatching for that reason alone.

But then Jeff's classic death-defying leap at the end, coupled with the emotional attachment surrounding the duo's victory are further reasons to watch it again.

And it was a pretty enjoyable match from start to finish, all things considered. There were plenty of good spots, plenty of energy and a spine-tingling return which was sensational.

It's a great bout.

Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles

As mentioned, fans will rewatch a number of matches from this year's WrestleMania for a variety of reasons.

But Shane McMahon's bout with AJ Styles will have fans watching over and over again because it wasn't only easy on the eyesit was so surprisingly good.

Everyone knew Styles would bring his very best to the party at Mania. But the big question was whether Shane McMahon would do the same. Thankfully, he did.

The back and forth between the two guys was incredible, given how Shane has wrestled only a handful of times over the last year or so.

Shane looked to be in fantastic shape, and that helped to create a brilliant opener to Mania this year. In some ways, it was absolutely the match of the night.

And it was one bout that fans will be keen to watch again.
