Chris Jericho will have another opportunity for revenge against Kevin Owens at Payback.

Jericho revealed on Raw Monday night he will challenge Owens for the United States Championship at Raw's next pay-per-view April 30, per WWE:

Owens captured the title Sunday night at WrestleMania 33.

Jericho nearly picked up the win after delivering a Codebreaker to his former best friend. Owens got a fingertip to the bottom rope, though, breaking up the pin. He then hit a devastating powerbomb on the ring apron to win the U.S. championship.

In the weeks leading up to WrestleMania, Owens and Jericho's feud was easily the most engaging on Raw. WWE played it perfectly with Owens finally turning his back on Y2J during their "Festival of Friendship" in February:

Their Payback match will likely be the end of the road.

In March, Jericho posted an Instagram photo of concert dates for his band Fozzy, with their upcoming tour kicking off May 5:

While there are open dates for Jericho to continue working with WWE, it's doubtful he'll juggle both a wrestling and music career at the same time.

Should Payback be the last time WWE fans see Jericho for the foreseeable future, it'll close the door on one of the most entertaining stretches of his time with the company.
