W/C Ratio: Articles Written/ Comments Posted

I have come up with the idea of creating a new statistic on Bleacher Report. It is called the W/C Ratio. The numerator will consist of the number of articles written. The denominator will consist of the number of comments the person has made.

So what would this all mean? It would provide people a guide for analyzing Bleacher Report users. If the person has written more articles then they have commented on then it will be a number greater than 1. If they have had more comments then articles written then the number will be a decimal less than 1. Or if they havent written any articles and have made a million comments it would be 0/1,000,000 = 0.

Anybody that has a W/C Ratio over 1 is considered a contributing writer of Bleacher Report by adding value and helping it grow. If anyone has a W/C Ratio of less than 1 then they are more a commenter. It could mean they just like critiquing peoples work. More ranking levels will be implemented to even better access the writers both in the 1+ grouping and the 0-.99 grouping.

So my proposal is that Bleacher Report should add this statistic on every ones page that would display their W/C Ratio near their picture. I think it would be a great idea.
