Jinder Mahal learned the hard way not to insult New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Gronkowski, a friend of WWE star Mojo Rawley, interfered in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33 on Sunday after Mahal threw a drink at him outside the ring. WWE shared a replay of Gronkowski shoulder-blocking Mahal:
Rawley went on to win the match after eliminating Mahal last.
Houston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick wishes he could've hopped the barricade at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida:
MLB Network's Robert Flores noted jumping inside the wrestling ring may not have been a wise decision for the All-Pro tight end given his injury troubles:
ESPN.com's Bill Barnwell wondered if Gronkowski's WWE excursion will become a bigger issue:
Gronkowski certainly looked healthy after undergoing season-ending back surgery in December.
The four-time Pro Bowler isn't the first NFL star to involve himself at WrestleMania. Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor is perhaps the most notable example. He beat Bam Bam Bigelow in the main event of WrestleMania XI in 1995.
