Terrence Jones Waived by Milwaukee Bucks

Rob GoldbergApr 1, 2017

The Milwaukee Bucks announced Saturday they have waived forward Terrence Jones.

Jones only appeared in three games for Milwaukee during the 2016-17 season, scoring zero points in a total of six minutes.ย

The 25-year-old began the campaign with the New Orleans Pelicans, averaging 11.5 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. However, the opportunity for playing time seemed to run out with the midseason acquisition of DeMarcus Cousins.

The Pelicans waived Jones at the end of February.

Milwaukeeย signed the power forwardย to a contract for the remainder of the season March 4, but he clearly couldn't crack the rotation. His only appearances were in games decided by 15 points or more.

The 2012 first-round pick spent his first four seasons with the Houston Rockets, averaging 10.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest. ย  ย  ย  ย ย
