Bulls Join Forces with Chance the Rapper, Donate $1 Million to Chicago Schools

The Chicago Bulls are joining Chance the Rapper in support of Chicago Public Schools.    

The team announced a $1 million donation on its Twitter page Friday:

The Bulls shared an image of Chance the Rapper and team president Michael Reinsdorf after the announcement:

Chance the Rapper, a Chicago native, previously wrote a $1 million check for CPS and made a "call to action," per Juan Perez Jr. and Monique Garcia of the Chicago Tribune.

On Friday, he announced he will set up an arts and literature fund and give $10,000 to 12 different schools in need for their art programs, per Tina Sfondeles and Lauren FitzPatrick of the Chicago Sun-Times.
