Rockets Account Takes Shot at Russell Westbrook with James Harden MVP Tweet
The Houston Rockets beat the Oklahoma City Thunder Sunday 137-125 and improved their record to 51-22 compared to Oklahoma City's 41-31.
The Rockets' Twitter account took note of the wins difference when boosting James Harden's MVP standing compared to that of Thunder star Russell Westbrook, with a play on the art for Drake's More Life:
Harden finished Sunday's game with 22 points, 12 assists and five rebounds, while Westbrook notched his 36th triple-double of the season with 39 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds.
Westbrook's quest to join Oscar Robertson as the only players in NBA history to average a triple-double during an entire season has been a dominant talking point throughout the league. It has also propelled him into MVP discussions, but Harden is right there alongside him and was averaging a league-high 11.3 assists per game coming into Sunday's contest.
He also has the better record, as the Rockets were more than happy to point out on Twitter.
