Derrick Rose Out for Rest of Season with Knee Injury
Tyler ConwayApr 2, 2017
New York Knicks guard Derrick Rose will miss the rest of the season with a torn meniscus, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported.
Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News first reported Rose would miss Sunday's game against the Boston Celtics.
In his first season with the Knicks, Rose has largely been healthy. He's played in 64 of the team's 76 games, averaging 18.0 points and 4.4 assists.
His health hasn't resulted in much success for the Knicks, who are on their way to their fourth straight losing season. Rose is an impending free agent this summer, so if the injury proves serious, he may have already played his last game in a Knicks uniform.
