Devin Booker Scores Historic 70 Points vs. Celtics

The Phoenix Suns may have lost to the Boston Celtics 130-120 Friday night, but at least one player still had plenty to celebrate. 

2015 first-round pick Devin Booker made history by racking up 70 points for Phoenix during the game. Yes, 70 points. 

Booker went 21-of-40 from the field, 4-of-11 from outside the arc and 24-of-26 from the free-throw line. His 70 points are the most in a game by any active NBA player, per Basketball Reference.

Needless to say, his teammates were pretty amazed by his efforts, even posing for a pic to commemorate the occasion.
