Week Six Picks: Prime Picks For The NFL
This will be a great week of action, with the undefeated Giants facing the undefeated Saints in New Orleans. I am writing this before the Oakland Raiders play New York at home.
Pretty bold move on my part, huh? Not! This will be the week the Giants drop a game this season however, as New Orleans will have Mike Bell, Pierre Thomas, and Reggie Bush on the ground, along with , of course Drew Brees to light it up.
I'm going with the upset pick of New Orleans, at home.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Houston travels to Cincinnati and this is an interesting match-up and a difficult pick. I like Houston to win this game, as I have selected them to make the play-offs, finally this season.
They will have to get some road wins and this should be one of them. The offense has plenty of weapons to get the job done, with Slaton, Johnson, and Schaub! This may be the Texan's over the hump season.
Carolina storms into Tampa Bay expecting to get a win, and a small streak going of a positive nature. I am wondering who Tampa Bay could actually beat this season. Take Carolina with a no brainer pick this week.
Pittsburgh will be at home against Cleveland, speaking of no brainers, and Troy Polamalu may be back this week, although he probably can rest another week, if need be. Pittsburgh will win this game at home.
Brett Farve and the Vikings get a good defense this week , with the Ravens coming to town. A healthy dose of Adrian Peterson is in store for this defense, and Favre will have time, with the Peterson threat, keeping Baltimore on guard.
Still this could be a very good test for the VIkings, be it may, in their own stadium. I will take Brett Favre and Adrian Peterson at home. The Vikings are going to have a very good season.
Brett Favre in a playoff game id going to be really fun to watch. Is this the Vikings destiny, to finally win a Super Bowl. Now that would be priceless, with Favre at quarterback.
Jacksonville is at home against the Rams, and this is a trap game, for sure. Remenber. last season at this time, the Rams jumped up and beat a pretty good Redskin team in Washington.
Everyone is talking about The Jags making it to 4-2, at this early juncture in the season. I am very tempted to take the Rams this week, but I'm chicken. Brack , brack, brack. Take the Jags at home, but watch out.
Green Bay is at home against the Lions. and as much as I am tempted to try another upset pick with Detroit, I will again refrain and pick Green Bay at home.
Now this game is an upset waiting to happen, as Kansas City travels to Washington, who remains unimpressive.
Who will Kansas City beat this season, with a hot week from Matt Cassell? Probably the Raiders. Ok, I'll take Washington at home, where thay should not lose to a weaker team.
Arizona travels to Seattle. who is having . it looks like. another not so great season. You have to take Warner and his receivers to take it to Seattle and win this one.
The Philadelphia Eagles travel to Oakland, and win. Do I have to elaborate? I give the Raiders no credit for even making this any kind of game. Oh, and Tom Cable, don't punch anyone. Does he need anti-depressants maybe?
Buffalo is in New York to play the Jets. Does any one give Buffalo a chance to win this one? I did not think so. Take the Jets at home.
A battered and weary Tennessee Titan team plays New England in the northeast. Tom Brady at home, should be able to keep the Titans on a downward spiral, but this is a dangerous team.
Kind Of like teasing a wounded wolverine, backed up in a hole. Beware, Patriots. This team is better than their record shows. This game has upset written all over it. I will take New England playing the percentages, But this game worries me.
The Bears will have their hands full in Atlanta this weekend. I like Atlanta at home in this one. The Bears, defensively, have just enough holes to get beat in this one.
San Diego, after a bye week, is at home against Denver. This division will even out, and I will take San Diego to win this game at home. No Cutler to make fun of this season , however. How will San Diego motivate themselves?
There you have it, seems like not a hard week to pick some winners. There are probably a couple of upsets in here, I bet.
