Nikola Jokic Says It's a 'Mismatch' for LeBron James to Guard Him in the Post
Following a 126-113 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic expressed his belief that LeBron James guarding him in the post was a "mismatch."
As seen in the following video courtesy of BSNDenver.com's Harrison Wind, Jokic downplayed the personal importance of posting up LeBron:
Jokic finished the game with 16 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists.
The 22-year-old is in the midst of a breakout season for the Nuggets, averaging 16.2 points, 9.4 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game.
His play is a significant reason why the Nuggets are currently eighth in the Western Conference and trending toward making the playoffs for the first time since 2013.
The Cavs remain first in the Eastern Conference despite the loss, but they are just 4-6 over their past 10 games and lead the Boston Celtics by only one game.
