NCAA Tournament 2017: Updated Bracket and Odds for Remainder of March Madness
This is why they call it March Madness.
You're lucky if your bracket remains unbusted after a wild first two rounds of NCAA tournament play, which saw defending champion and No. 1 overall seed Villanova get booted by Wisconsin 65-62 in the second round.
Similarly, No. 2 Duke—another popular pick to go all the way in this year's brackets—got toppled by South Carolina 88-81, while No. 2 Louisville couldn't get it done against another Big Ten juggernaut, the Michigan Wolverines.

The updated bracket for the Sweet 16 is below.
It's no surprise that of the remaining squads, No. 1 seed Kansas is favored to win it all.
The Jayhawks' final score of 90-70 against Michigan State looked dominant, but if you ask head coach Bill Self, the team had room for improvement.
"I don't think we played well against Michigan State for 28 minutes. I thought we played so hard, just like they did. It was still a non-rhythmic game, but we still semi had control," Self said, per Gary Bedore of the Kansas City Star.
North Carolina, with 5-1 odds, is still alive as well, but it was a rocky road for a moment. In the second round, Arkansas made a late push against the Tar Heels with just less than four minutes left.
But a conference with coach Roy Williams seemed to restore the Tar Heels players' confidence, as they went on to score on six of their seven final possessions en route to a 72-65 victory.
UNC will take on No. 4 seed Butler in the Sweet 16, which will pose another tough challenge. The Bulldogs feature a tough defense and proved their mettle in the regular season, when they defeated Villanova twice.
The fact that the Wildcats have since been knocked out of the tournament doesn't diminish that accomplishment.
Two other tournament heavyweights who could go all the way are Arizona and Gonzaga. Both squads enter the Sweet 16 with 13-2 odds to win it all.
Gonzaga has a tough road ahead against No. 4 seed West Virginia, despite being the higher-seeded team.
The Zags won over Northwestern in dramatic fashion in the second round, but West Virginia—or "Press Virginia"—dismantled Notre Dame in the second round with that tough defense.
Even if your bracket has been busted, be sure to tune in for the remainder of this year's March Madness games, which will kick off on Thursday at 7:09 p.m. ET with the Sweet 16 matchup between No. 7 Michigan and No. 3 Oregon.
