Mario Lemieux Sends Letter, Signed Hockey Puck to Child in Hospital

Mar 21, 2017Mario Lemieux sent an unsolicited letter and signed hockey puck to a young girl hospitalized in Pittsburgh.
Colin Dunlap, a radio host on Pittsburgh's 93.7 The Fan, shared a note the Pittsburgh Penguins owner and NHL legend wrote to the host's five-year-old daughter, Darran, who has leukemia.
Lemieux, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in 1993, encouraged her to "fight and stay strong."
