Twitter Reacts to Indiana Firing Head Coach Tom Crean During NCAA Tournament

Right as Thursday's NCAA tournament action commenced, the Indiana Hoosiers announced the firing of men's basketball head coach Tom Crean.

USA Today's Nicole Auerbach posted the program's official press release on Twitter:

Crean led the Hoosiers to three Sweet 16 appearances in nine seasons, but they missed this year's tournament after finishing 18-16. Between the firing's questionable timing and the former coach's facial tendencies lending well to jokes, Twitter users couldn't resist the temptation to poke fun at the news:
