Rivea Ruff
Mar 13, 2017Manny Ramirez will be living high on the hog in Japan.
The former Red Sox slugger recently signed a contract with a team in an independent league in Japan, and his deal includes some cushy perks, according to Yakyudb.com (h/t Alex Speier of The Boston Globe).
As a batter for the Kochi Island Fighting Dogs, Ramirez will enjoy chauffeur services in a Mercedes with a personal driver as well as his own hotel suite on team road trips. If that's not enough, practice is not a requirement for Ramirez, and he gets his fill of unlimited sushi all season long.
